Zeit erzählen

This app brings history to life.
It is part of the project Ortslinien by German writer Walter Kempowski and serves as an interface between the past (1800–1999) and the present. Historical works in the form of text, sound, photography, painting, and film are made accessible through comparison and spatial experience.

Using Augmented Reality (AR), the app reveals these works at authentic locations, blending them with the current surroundings. Its core function is to connect past and present—transforming physical places into immersive encounters with history.
